ALUMINUM ASPHALT REFLECTING PAINTS

Reflecting coatings consist of a mixture of asphalt dissolved in an organic dissolvent with addition of aluminum pigment. Reflecting mastic also contains addition of mineral fillings. Reflective coatings are characterized by a light silver color that reflects most of the solar radiation, which reduces the temperature of the surface layer as well as the whole structure, namely during summer maximums. In dusty environment it loses its original silver gloss after 2–3 years, especially on flat roofs, however, it still performs the most important function – protection of the roofing against solar radiation.

RefLeXOL – REFLECTING ASPHALT PAINTS
Use: as a surface treatment of new and renovated asphalt roof coatings. Its protective effect lasts for about 3–5 years. Do not dilute, everything is ready for use from the producer.
ALUMATOL – REFLECTING ASPHALT MASTIC
Use: for water proofing of roofing, as surface protection of new and renovated asphalt coatings against UV radiation. The protective effect lasts for about 7–9 years. It decreases the temperature of roofing and roof coating.
Processing: it is applied cold by a brush or a roofing brush, REFLEXOL can also be applied by spraying. The foundation must be clean, dry and must not be frozen. Works cannot be performed in rainy weather. Stir thoroughly before processing. The consumption of REFLEXOL is 0.3–0.4 kg/m2 and of ALUMATOL 0.7–1 kg/m2. Do not dilute, everything is ready for use from the producer.
Packaging and storage: REFLEXOL is supplier in 91 kg, 50 kg and 12 kg packages and in 3.8 kg cans. ALUMATOL is supplied in 50 kg packages and in cone buckets with a volume of 8.6 kg. The paints are stored in sealed packages and must not be exposed to high temperatures or direct sunlight. Smoking and working with open fire in the storage areas is prohibited. Freezing does not damage the product.
