Recommendations for selection of oil viscosity on Mogul

Recommendations for selection of oil viscosity on Mogul:

  • run at least 25% of the rated engine (new engine) manufacturer recommends use oils of SAE 0W30, 5W30, 5W40 or 10W40 multigrade;
  • mileage at 25-75% of the rated engine (technically good engine) should use oils of SAE 5W30, 5W40, 10W40, 15W40 multigrade;
  • with mileage more than 75% of the rated engine (old engine) should use oils of SAE 10W40, 15W40 and 20W40 multigrade.

Selecting viscosity grade oil, should take into account recommendations of the manufacturer of the engine. These recommendations are based on its design features.
